Measurements

Mum's and Dad's, to help you in measuring your child we have a sizing mannequin to show where to take your childs measurements. Further down this page are details on how to measure your child.
 

BOYS

Chest- Standing tall - position tape measure around widest part of the back and then bringing tape measure around across the nipple area, keeping your thumb behind tape. (don't have tape pulled tight)
When measuring the chest area, add 12cm to your childs chest measurements, as a jacket or vest should be loose fitting.

Waist- Standing tall (measure with underwear on only, NOT with jeans or track pants) Bend to the side, the bend is the natural waistline, keep your thumb behind the tape measure and do not pull it tight.

Outside Leg- Standing tall position, tape measure on the side of the body (hip side) at the waistline and measure to the floor (make allowance for shoe)

Inside  Leg- Standing tall position, tape inside the leg (near groin area) and take measurement to the floor (make allowance for shoe) 

Arm Length-  Standing Tall arms by the side, fingers pointing to the ground, position tape at top of shoulder and measure down to the wrist.

GIRLS

Waist- Standing tall - (take measurement with underwear on ONLY not with jeans or tops on) Bend to the side, the bend is the natural waistline, keep your thumb behind tape measure and do not pull it tight.

Length- From shoulder to the floor = Floor length Dresses = Position tape measure top of shoulder and measure straight down to floor (making allowance for shoes).
-Tee Length Dresses = Position tape measure top of shoulder and measure to CALF (mid way between KNEE and ANKLE)
